POST: A SUBJECT THAT I ENJOY

The course that I have enjoyed the most as a student is one that I took in the third semester. It's called "Colonial Art" and despite being online due to the health crisis and the pandemic, I really enjoyed it. The course dealt with the art developed during the periods after the Spanish conquest, mainly in Mexico, Peru and Bolivia, and how visual conflicts were presented throughout the period. In this way, indigenous traditions were mixed with Spanish ones, resulting in a very interesting set. I like the theme because it allows us to have more than one look at colonial art and our past.
